| News Update (07-04-09) Happy Independents Day! Without further delay, SI presents Idiomatic 2. Head to our Store right now and order a CD or digital copy, whichever you prefer. All orders will go out July 14, the official release date. But if you want to "pre-order" go ahead, you just might get it early! Idiomatic 2 is a follow-up to Idiomatic Mixtape Vol.1, which was basically our crew debut and put SI on the map to a lot of people worldwide. Vol. 2 is pretty much an inside affair, but as always we have a few features and guest producers on the beats. You just have to cop it to find out all the neat surprises, for once I'm not gonna spoil it! Click the "Store" button above, cop I2 now! News Update (06-20-09) The SI squad has just dropped 3 new releases courtesy of ILLECT Recordings! First, the duo of Cas Metah and MotionPlus present the "SomeBuddies" EP. Next, JustMe teamed up with producer Commissioner Gordon to craft his latest solo LP "Before The Twilight". And "Guest Room", the compilation-style project put together by Cas Metah is another album you will have on your "2009's best" list. Head to the store section and pick these up. Also, check out JustMe's single for "A Willing Vessel". It comes with an exclusive B-side, instrumentals and accapellas. The crew is about to drop the latest mixtape too! "Idiomatic Mixtape Vol. 2 (Deux)" is complete (well, it needs artwork and is being mastered as I type this). Expect a late July/early August release. This website is going to be the only place online to get this exclusive release from the Scribbling Idiots. We're saving money for our next big project, and this is one of our "fund-raisers". Catch that Deux when it drops! News Update (04-28-09) Well it's been a few busy months here at ESeye central. "The Have Nots" dropped in Japan on schedule. I heard the first pressing sold out with the quickness. Thanks Japan! Bring us out for some shows! "Guest Room", "SomeBuddies" and "Before The Twilight" are about to be bumping in stereos worldwide. Order your copies now! We just got home from a week in Nashville with our fellow Illect cohorts. Peace and love to all the people we met, it was a good time. One of the people we met for the first time in person was muzeONE. He recently signed to Illect and we at SI were pretty impressed with his heart and his music. We felt led to pray about asking him to join the crew. It didn't take long to build with muzeONE before we felt the chemistry. So it's official, we welcome muzeONE to the Scribbling Idiot family. Make sure you cop his ep "The Back Burner", available now and be on the lookout for his ILLECT debut full-length coming soon. News Update (01-28-09) Greetings faithful followers. Well we certainly have a lot to be thankful for. 2008 has been a good year for us. Here's a quick recap of what went down: -- We released our official debut crew album "The Have Nots" back in January courtesy of Illect Recordings/Mile 3 Distribution. -- MotionPlus released his debut solo album "The Sound Protest" shortly after on End Of Earth Records. --JustMe & Cas Metah released their second duo project "Unemployed" while everyone slept. --Theory Hazit released "Lord Fire" over the summer independently further proving his grind is like no other. --Kaboose dropped his Syntax Records/Koch Distribution debut "Excuse Me" in October. Coming up very soon are two more SI releases courtesy of Illect Recordings. The first is Cas Metah "Guest Room" and the second is JustMe "Beyond The Twilight". Expect some cool promo music (as in "FREE") coming alongside those releases. Cas Metah just finished shooting a video for a song from "Guest Room" so be on the lookout for that soon also. Speaking of videos, make sure you check out the new video for "Almost Famous". |
